Video

This video focuses on what is the definition of worship and different ways you can worship God that arn’t music/singing. God defines worship as praising something as greater than you in our
dear to ultimentley satisfy your own life. Based on the definition of worship, you can technically worship anything. We have to be care full to put God above all else so that we don’t get caught up in worshiping false idols. Bob Kauflin emphasizes the idea that worship should be about all three of the trinity or else a Muslim could call their worship Christian. Worship without music can be drawing, painting, dancing, evangelism, or anything else that you put the love of God into. Out every day lives can be worship if we give it to God. It is doing good things in the name of Jesus that can be considered worship. Bob Kauflin makes a big point of stressing that worship can be anything as long as it is in responce and praise of Gods mercy to us.

I can apply this to my life because I tend to get stuck in thinking my worship is only music. I even had a hard time adjusting to worshiping and praising God through my instrument and not my voice. I really like to draw so i want to see what i can do to glorify God through that.

He tells of a time when he used only scripture when trying to share the word of God. While rooting everything you do in the bible is important, being able to relate the stories from thousands of years ago to today is key.
